I’m not really sure what the true plural of hippopotamus is. Honestly, I don’t really care. I do however find it very interesting to know that a group of hippopotamuses (hippopotami?) is called a bloat. Also interesting to know is that a group of giraffes is called a tower and a group of porcupines is a prickle. Want to know more? So the next time you are cornered by a barrel of monkeys (yes, that’s what they’re called), you can at least know what to call them.
